TalentTune is a trading name of Reece John Robert Flanagan ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our job application optimization services including LinkedIn profile optimization, CV generation, and cover letter creation.

  • Account Information: Email address, password (encrypted)
  • LinkedIn Profile Data: Headline, about section, experience, and skills that you manually enter into our platform
  • Job Target Information: Job titles and descriptions you provide for analysis (optional)
  • Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe (we do not store your card details)
  • Generated Content: AI-generated CVs and cover letters created from your profile data

Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, security, and basic site functionality (e.g., sidebar state preferences)
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how you use TalentTune to improve our service (Vercel Analytics - anonymous, aggregated data only)

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption:

  • Database: Hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit
  • Authentication: Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
  • Access Control: Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data
  • AI Processing: Profile data is sent to OpenAI for analysis and is subject to their privacy policy

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI: For AI-powered profile analysis
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Supabase: For database and authentication

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Important: We do NOT sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for monetary compensation or other valuable consideration. We only share data with service providers (OpenAI, Stripe, Supabase) as necessary to provide our services.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
